Having been brought up in the Air Force, I was taught to respect the Flag, however, in this current climate, when our Jester in Chief is the #1 draft dodger to have been elected to the Highest office, I believe that it is time for ALL sports functions to cease with the National Anthem - since most of those who perform it, just want to showcase their singing. Today of all days, one remembers the day that Roseanne Barr screeched her way through the National Anthem!
The athletes who have taken a knee have done so to bring attention to the deplorable treatment of non-whites!
