Dana Milbank's comparison of Margaret Chase Smith and Susan Collins

 Dana Milbank had a fantastic editorial comparing the late Senator Margaret Chase Smith and the current Senator Susan Collins.

 My husband generally states that he spent four years at Loring AFB in Maine, protecting Margaret Chase Smith's potato fields - he says this not unkindly.

I doubt greatly that my husband would protect Senator Susan Collins potato fields.

Not being a Republican any more -  years ago I voted for the R's, no more!
I feel betrayed by Susan's remarks, and have lost all respect for her.
