My husband and I just watched Bohemian Rhapsody, (although this will NOT take the place of "The Black Panther" as my new favorite film,) it certainly was one of the BEST movies we have seen together - my husband still has not watched "The Black Panther", although he recognizes the music when he walks in the house and I am watching it.
Rami Malek truly deserved the Oscar for his performance as Freddie Mercury!!!!!!
We were never Queen "fans", we were much more into folk music at that time...... However, I knew that there were two songs in the film that we both knew...... "Stomp, stomp, clap, stomp, stomp clap We will, we will rock you" - anyone who has ever watched Hockey Night in Canada knows that!!!!! And of course, We are the Champions!
The film is certainly worth watching, even if you are/were NOT a fan of Queen. Several people at the library have mentioned that they were never into Queen, but "loved" the movie. Hope you will consider watching it.

Mayor Pete Buttigieg
Pete Buttigieg is the hottest candidate in the 2020 race right now (CNN headline)
If you have not heard Mayor Pete Buttigieg (pronounced Buddha judge) you are really missing something!
This man is spot on in what he says and what he stands for.
I shall be casting my vote for him.

KELLYANNE AND GEORGE CONWAY
Gee, Kellyanne and George, on opposite sides of DDIC.......
Kellyanne, you should seriously consider where you TRUE loyalties lie --- your HUSBAND or DDIC!!!!!!!!!
Seems about time to make a moral choice here.

If you aren't worried about the state of our country ......
Well, DDIC has made another FRIGHTENING statement, and IF YOU ARE NOT WORRIED ABOUT THE STATE OF OUR COUNTRY, YOU BETTER WELL SHOULD BE......
In an interview with Breitbart News published on Wednesday, Trump noted: “I have the support of the police, the support of the military, the support of the Bikers for Trump – I have the tough people, but they don’t play it tough – until they go to a certain point, and then it would be very bad, very bad.”
Because he sounds VERY MUCH like Mussolini, and if that doesn't scare you, GOD help us all!

When did DDIC become God?
I just read this article on The Hill website.....
Trump signs Bibles during Alabama disaster visit
Excuse me, DDIC, when did you become God?
You don't sign Bibles, you are not the author, and to do so, in this writer's opinion, is blasphemous!!!!!!!!!

Watermark Book Co., Anacortes, WA
When Stanwood, Washington's only indie
bookstore, The SnowGoose, closed several years ago, I was forced to make a major decision, one which was NOT to use Amazon!, but to find another independently owned bookstore close by.
Wonder of wonders, the former owner of the SnowGoose suggested the Watermark in Anacortes, WA. Thankfully, I heeded Kristine's suggestion, and have never even considered another bookstore!
I live on Camano Island, so getting to Anacortes is not an every day drive, however, once I established an account with the Watermark, it is as easy as picking up the phone and placing my order(s). Generally, if the book(s) is/are on the shelf, and, if the next day is not a Sunday or holiday, my books arrive in the mail! What service could be better than that?
Recently, I needed to purchase a copy of the Wizard of Oz as a birthday gift, I called and spoke with the young woman who shall remain nameless as I do not have her permission to name her at this time. I had a library copy with a particular illustrator, but this edition was no longer available. I asked the young woman to pick one and surprise me. Whoa, what a remarkable edition I received - illustrated by Charles Santore

The Fall, a tv series
We just finished watching this series.
Whoa - it starts out with some gruesome murders, which we all see who is committing the crimes, so nothing is a surprise.
Gillian Anderson portrays Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson, Jamie Dornan portrays serial killer Paul/Peter Spector.
The cat and mouse game between the two that unfolds slowly. This is a game that is both complex and very complicated. Some scenes have virtually no dialogue at all.
The conclusion (18 episodes are the entire series) will literally "knock your socks off".
Realistic hospital procedure in the beginning of the 3rd season, had me covering my eyes frequently. My husband was really impressed with the realism of these scenes.
The worst of the gruesome scenes is during season 1, so if you can get through those, then you probably can get through the rest of the episodes.
