Quote of the Day ------ Goodreads
Give me a room whose every nook is dedicated to a book.
Robert Southey
English poet Robert Southey (born August 12, 1774) was a contemporary of such literary lions as William Wordsworth, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Sir Walter Scott, and Lord Byron. He was appointed poet laureate, though he was also known for his historical works (on Brazil) and biographies (on Horatio Nelson). Perhaps most surprising? The Story of the Three Bears, the original Goldilocks tale, is his creation as well.
Well, Robert Southey would be extremely impressed with my small house, books in every room, stacks on the floor, bookcases loaded, and even in closets.
