A Borrowed Identity, a film

A Borrowed Identity, a film by Eran Riklis.

We watched this the other evening, my husband just can't stop talking about this one.

If I were to give out stars - 4 Stars for this one.

Based on the excellent novel -"Dancing Arabs" by Sayed Kashua.

Palestinian Israeli Eyad, a gifted young man, has been afforded the opportunity to attend a prestigious Jewish boarding school in Jerusalem.  Meeting and making friends with the Israeli students is difficult, until he meets another "outsider" Jonathan, who suffers from muscular dystrophy.  Gradually as Jonathan's condition worsen, they become very good friends, with Eyad living with Jonathan and his mother.  Eyad is forced to make a life changing decision that will change the course of his life forever.
