After watching District 10- boy was that VIOLENT, and the "F" word seemed to be the only word in the entire movie- we had the good fortune to watch Endgame.
This also was set in South Africa, a group meets to bring about a major change to South Africa, and to free Nelson Mandela from his long years in prison.
William Hurt portrays a South African university professor involved in the group - it was interesting to watch him portray a South African, he nailed the accent.
This had violence, but it was watchable, since it wasn't just made for the movie.
Endgame is a movie worth your time and energy - oh if only mankind would just try harder to let all live in peace.
