DCI Banks, Detective Chief Inspector Alan Banks, of the Yorkshire territory, is a very thorough investigator.
Naturally a crime is involved, however, we are spared from having to watch the gruesome action occur, unlike some series.
We really enjoy this series very much, and always look forward to when the library system is able to acquire the latest segments.
The cast is superb, and the countryside is amazing.
